We design, mould, insulate, deliver and install our own tanks. Very few of our competitors can say the same, and it is the reason a Decca tank arrives built to the specification we quoted rather than to someone else's.
Established in 1973, every Decca tank is moulded in the UK at our own works. We are a manufacturer, not a factor, so the specification, the tolerances and the lead time are ours to control rather than something we pass on from a third party.
Our sectional tank panels are hot-press moulded for consistent wall thickness and a smooth finish on both sides. This precision allows the panels to be bolted together on site and helps the assembled tank retain its shape under load.
Our one-piece tanks have no panel joints to seal or maintain. Where access allows, we supply a single moulding. For restricted access, our two-piece tanks can be transported in sections and assembled in the plant room. Both options are produced using the same tooling and method.
We fit insulation in-house, with a choice of 18 mm, 25 mm or 50 mm thicknesses. We also mould GRP housings and walk-in enclosures to protect tanks installed outdoors, ensuring the tank and its enclosure are built to work together.
