TWO FUNCTIONS / ONE ENCLOSURE

Plan the water and equipment space together.

The tank stores the water. The adjoining dry compartment gives the pump set and other equipment a dedicated space within the same GRP unit.

Equipment scope agreed per project

Illustrative layout only. Compartment proportions, access and equipment scope are agreed for each project.

Storage that suits the duty

Start with the required usable litres and operating levels. The dry compartment does not contribute to stored water volume.

Space for the equipment

Share the pump-set footprint, pipework and controls layout so Decca can review the compartment dimensions and access.

A coordinated installation

One enclosure brings the tank and equipment area together. Connections, equipment and site works are defined in the quotation.

SPECIFICATION

Combination units at a glance

A bespoke unit, defined around your water-storage duty, equipment layout and site.

Construction Bespoke single-piece GRP unit with a wet tank compartment and a separate dry equipment compartment.
Standard supply Tank and enclosure. Pumps, pipework, electrical equipment and associated work are agreed separately.
Water storage Capacity, operating levels and connection positions set out on the agreed project drawing.
Insulation options 25 mm or 50 mm encapsulated polyurethane foam, selected to suit the project and location.
Access Lockable, outward-opening single or double doors; roof access to the water compartment.
Floor construction Encapsulated timber-based floor and bearer construction within the dry compartment.
External finish Colour and finish options, including smooth, textured and anti-vandal finishes, agreed before manufacture.

CONFIGURATION

Configure the unit around your project.

Choose the storage, equipment space and access as one coordinated layout.

Give Decca the water duty and required usable capacity, together with inlet, outlet, warning, overflow and drain requirements. Raised inlet chambers and an AB air-gap arrangement can be discussed for the selected unit. The final drawing confirms the arrangement.

Choose the door position and opening arrangement around equipment installation and servicing. Insulation, ventilation openings, colour and external finish are agreed to suit the location. Door swing and roof access must remain clear after the unit is positioned.

Pumps, interconnecting pipework and electrics are not included in the standard tank-and-enclosure supply. Ask Decca to define any additional package. Lighting, frost protection, heating, controls and electrical-board options can be discussed; the quotation records exactly what is included.

DELIVERY & ACCESS

Plan for the complete unit.

Decca reviews the overall dimensions, delivery route and positioning arrangements with your team before manufacture.

  • Measure the full route, gates, turning space and final location.
  • Agree vehicle access, lifting method and unloading responsibilities.
  • Provide a flat, level support designed for the full filled load.
  • Keep doors, roof access, ventilation and service connections accessible.

Your structural designer confirms the support. Decca confirms the unit drawing and the agreed delivery and installation scope.

HELP & GUIDANCE

Combination unit FAQs

The standard supply is the tank and enclosure. Pumps, pipework, electrics and any installation or commissioning are included only where agreed in the quotation.

The combination unit described here is supplied as a bespoke single-piece unit. Check the overall delivery dimensions, lifting arrangements and route before manufacture. If access is restricted, discuss the site with Decca before selecting the product.

Share the pump-set and equipment drawings, together with the access needed for installation and maintenance. Decca reviews the proposed layout and confirms the enclosure dimensions and door arrangement.

No. The overall unit includes the dry equipment compartment. Actual and usable storage depend on the water compartment, operating levels and fittings. State your required usable litres so Decca can review the correct storage arrangement.

Request the current combination-unit specification with your quotation. The agreed drawing confirms the dimensions and layout. Tell Decca about any required fire, ingress, acoustic or approval performance so the appropriate project-specific evidence can be reviewed.
