Site Operative/Van Driver

To ensure safe installation of water storage tanks in accordance with company procedures. Work is site based and travelling the UK is required. Working away from home Monday to Friday is required.

• Wages: Minimum Wage but Dependant on Experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To assist Van Leader in checking all components for site are fully stocked on the van and ensuring sufficient spares are available.
• To comply with any client requirements including booking in and out of site while participating in tool talks and site specific safety inductions.
• To set-up the site in accordance with the Van Leaders instructions ensuring all tank equipment is erected correctly, including the installation of sectional tank panels, fittings and pipe connections.To assist safe erection of tanks in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• To be responsible for ensuring that the Site is secure and safe at all times.
• To ensure that all paperwork is completed in relation to each project, snags lists, and time-sheets are completed by all staff allocated to individual jobs.
• This position is not limited to tank installations. You will also visit sites to replace old for new tanks, relining existing tanks, and/or repairing water storage tanks. Again, assisting the Van leader in all aspects of work carried out.
• To adhere to company procedures in relation to the wearing of safety clothing/clothing and Decca Plastic overalls as required.
• To handle any customer queries or concerns on-site in the first instance. Any issues should be reported to Van Leader.
• To attend and participate in site management meetings.
• To undertake other duties as reasonably requested by the company.
